Árið var viðburðarríkt en bandaríska blaðið Time tók saman lista yfir þau tíu tíst sem fengu mesta útbreiðslu á árinu. Þó svo að smásögur Bubba Morthens á Twitter hafi slegið í gegn nær hann því miður ekki inn á listann í ár.
Það kemur talsvert á óvart að sá sem hefur líklega verið hvað háværastur á Twitter, Donald Trump kemst ekki á listann. Barack Obama, forveri hans í starfi, á hinsvegar fleiri en eitt tíst á listanum.
